About this role
Susquehanna is looking for a Trading Systems Developer to join our Options Technology team. In this role, you will analyze, design, and develop business-critical trading systems, taking projects through the full software development lifecycle — from requirements gathering to production release. Day to day, you'll collaborate with technologists, traders, and quantitative analysts to deliver optimal outcomes.
What we're looking for
- A bachelor's degree (or higher) in a technical or related discipline.
- A track record, working knowledge, or strong interest in options, trading, risk, or quantitative systems development.
- Exceptional C# development skills, with deep knowledge of design, profiling, object-oriented programming, multi-threading, and performance — particularly in back-end development.
- Previous experience or working knowledge of options, risk, pricing, and Greeks will be highly regarded
Nice to have
- Experience with microservices and cloud technologies (e.g., Azure Service Fabric, Envoy Proxy, gRPC, Protobuf, React JS, Docker, Kubernetes, Octopus Deploy, and the ELK Stack).
What's in it for you
- Our flat hierarchy lets you drive meaningful impact by leveraging your expertise and taking ownership.
- Greenfield opportunity: a newly created role as we scale across APAC.
- Private healthcare and wellness initiatives.
- Daily office lunch allowance.
- Employee Assistance and Education Assistance Programs.
- Matched donations and corporate discounts.
This role can be based in either Hong Kong or Sydney.
